Sem is a Data & Machine Learning architect working at a consulting firm in Toronto. He has over 10 years of experience delivering modern enterprise solutions in a variety of industries. Sem specializes in building machine learning pipelines in the cloud and computer vision deep learning applications. He is a Computer Systems Engineering graduate from Carleton University in Ottawa.

Sem got into engineering because he read stories about Black inventors when he was a child and is passionate about bringing up the next group of young Black inventors after him.
