MEDIA STATEMENT - MAY 14TH 2022 TERROR ATTACK IN BUFFALO

We are deeply saddened about the horrific news that once again impacted our Black Community. On May 14th, 2022 a lone gunman targeted Black families and individuals at a busy community grocery store. It is known that this individual is part of a white supremacist group.

While we continue to mourn as a community, our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and families impacted by this terror attack. These events results in both physical and emotional trauma to the entire Black community.

DCCBA calls for continued vigilance and support after this deadly attack. Now is not the time to be silent. Let us all do our part to eliminate hate.
