Student Art for Black History Month

For Black History Month, DCAFS & DCCBA partnered with St Andrew Elementary School to provide the students with an opportunity to showcase what Black History Month means. 

The students submitted over 150 pieces of artwork showcasing what Black History Month Means to them. Of the 150 entries, 9 incredible pieces were selected as winners from each grade. We are proud to support our youth in expressing their creativity while learning a little bit more about Black History. 

For the Month of March we will showcase all 9 pieces of art. Special thanks to Teacher/Librarian Tess P. for all her hard work in coordinating this with the students. Special prizes for the students were sponsored by DCAFS
